Paula Charbonnet-Killam is a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. Before joining Dermatology Affiliates, she worked with our sister company Pinnacle Dermatology in Viriginia. Paula has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2020. She graduated from George Washington University with her master's in nursing after working 10 years as a Bachelor Degreed RN. Paula was a Pediatric/Pediatric ICU nurse for much of her career but made the switch to Dermatology in graduate school.

Paula takes pride in treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, as well as the numerous other skin conditions we treat daily. While in graduate school, Paula was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society. Paula was born and raised on the Bayou in South Louisiana. She is an avid LSU and Saints football fan, especially when they have a winning season!! In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family.
