Katie is a native to Georgia. She attended University of Georgia where she earned her degree in Health Promotion. She gained patient care experience working as a medical assistant at Dermatology Affiliates. She received her Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest School of Medicine - PA Studies. It was during her time at Dermatology Affiliates that her interest in dermatology began and it continued to grow during school. She is very excited to return to Dermatology Affiliates as a Physician Assistant.

Using her passion for helping others, she is excited to treat her patients’ dermatologic concerns. Katie believes in working with individual patients to develop a treatment plan that works best for each patient. Additionally, she believes that the medical field is constantly advancing and enjoys staying up to date on medical literature and attending medical education events. Katie takes care of patients of all ages but especially enjoys seeing children and teenagers.

She is a member of Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to the beach and lake, and is involved in her church.
